Stamped concrete is patterned to look like slate, flagstone, tile, wood, brick, or other various patterns and textures. This type of concrete is commonly used for sidewalks, patios, pools, and driveways. Because of stamped concretes abilitly to resemble these other materials, it is a great cheaper alternative. There are three strategies utilized within stamped concrete which separate it from other concrete systems; the expansion of a base color, the expansion of a stress shade, and stamping a pattern into the cement. This is also longer lasting than paved stone and gives off the similar look to it.
